Turkse hutspot van Chef Tito
Recept
voor 6 personen
2 kilo kruimige aardappelen
1 kilo winterwortelen
1 kleine knolselderij
2 uien
5 knoflooktenen
80 gram boter
200 gram Turkse rundersalami
1 theelepel gemalen komijn
1 theelepel gedroogde oregano
bosje fijngesneden platte
peterselie
100 ml melk
Peper en zout
Bereiden

Schil de aardappels en snijd ze doormidden.
•
Schrap de wortelen en snijd ze in stukken
•
Schil de knolselderij en snijd in stukken
•
Pel de uien en snijd ze in stukken
•
Pel de knoflook en snijd in stukjes
Doe deze ingrediënten in een pan met water, als het
water kookt, vuur zacht zetten en 20 minuten laten pruttelen.
Giet het water goed af en stamp fijn.
Roer de boter, scheutje melk, kleingesneden salami, komijn,
oregano en peterselie erdoor.
Breng op smaak met zout en peper.
Star cakes
1 tube (18 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough, softened
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
24 small fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
4 large kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
Directions
In a small bowl, beat cookie dough and flour until combined. Roll on a lightly floured surface to 1/4-in. thickness. Cut with a floured 3-in. star-shaped cookie cutter.
Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
For frosting, in a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Set aside 1-2 tablespoons. Spread remaining frosting over cookies. Place five strawberry slices on each cookie. Using reserved frosting, attach one kiwi slice to each. Store in the refrigerator.
